GM’s first-generation Volt made its way to a handful of markets, serving in the US as a Chevrolet, here as a Holden and in Europe as the Opel Ampera.
But, while Holden’s Volt was largely identical to the US-market Chevrolet, Opel’s model was blessed with a more sporting face and rump that better exemplified the German brand’s styling language.
Now, with an all-new 2015 Volt making its debut earlier this month as a Chevrolet, we could yet see a special Opel-styled version appear in the new future. March’s Geneva Motor Show could prove an ideal venue.
