Renault Teases Megane’s New Nurburgring Assault: Video

Renault has released a new teaser clip of the enhanced Megane RS hatch it will use to take back its crown at the legendary Nurburgring track.

The French carmaker previously held the record with an 8:07.97 lap, but Spanish brand Seat stole the title earlier this year when its Leon Cupra 280 crossed the line with a remarkable 7:58 time to its credit.

Renault has since begun a campaign to restore order, teasing details of its ‘#UNDER8’ project that it hopes will result in a convincing - and lasting - victory at the Nurburgring.
