Renault Teases F1-inspired EV Concept

Renault has rolled out a single shadowy teaser image for a new concept it will reveal later this week. 

The carmaker has revealed little about the car, although it promises the concept will preview a new generation of electric vehicle technology. 

Unlike the little Zoe EV, this new concept will focus on performance, revealing a muscular design that "bridges the gap between the world of Formula 1 and that of electric vehicles". 

The look of the car remains a mystery, although Renault says the concept's advanced technology will be showcased through a special viewing window above the drivetrain.

Renault has also confirmed the concept was developed largely by its Renault Sport performance arm.
