Renault has unveiled its new Duster Oroch pickup this week, based on the small Dacia Duster SUV already offered in overseas markets.
The Oroch is built on a ‘C segment’ or small-car platform, utilising a version of the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s older ‘Bo’ architecture that underpins models like the Juke SUV and the NV200 van.
Renault says that the Oroch’s unique design positions it “between two segments”: the even smaller ‘B segment’ pickups that offer either less room in the cabin or a shorter cargo space, and larger pickups like the HiLux and Ranger.
