Renault Australia has renewed and improved its low-interest finance officer, announced earlier this year at the launch of Renault Financial Services.

For the months of July and August, buyers can benefit from 2.9 percent financing on Renault's passenger car line-up.

In the case of the manual Megane and Fluence Dynamique models, three-year finance and a 50 percent residual balloon payment for the $25,990 drive-away price would save just under $4170 over a conventional 9.9 percent rate.

The 2.9 percent rate is available for the Renault Megane Hatch, Megane Coupe-Convertible and Fluence sedan, along with the Clio RS 200, Latitude, Latitude Luxe and the Koleos.

The Renault Kangoo and Trafic light commercial vehicles are available with the same 3.9 percent rate introduced in May, which has now been extended into August.

“We have increased our sales through a combination of well-equipped, well-priced new models, backed-up by a highly competitive finance offer. We intend to keep the momentum flowing into the new Financial Year," Renault Australia MD Justin Hocevar said.

“Renault has a busy time ahead with more new models in the pipeline and the arrival here next year of the Renault Fluence Z.E. (Zero Emission) electric car, which will begin another exciting new chapter for our brand in Australia."

As with all finance offerings, there are conditions here. The 2.9 and 3.9 percent rates are applicable only with a 36 month contract, and rates vary for longer terms. For further details, contact your local Renault dealer.

Renault has seen a huge increase in sales over the past year. In June, 410 Renault cars found new Australian homes, compared to 103 for the same period last year.

Year-to-date, the French carmaker has solds 1505 vehicles in Australia, compared to 859 at this point last year.
