Chinese website Auto Sohu has published the images, which show front, side and rear angles of a three-door Evoque silhouette.
The drawings show the SUV with a raised ride-height wearing large mudflaps, a roof-mounted air-intake system and heavy underbody protection, particularly at the front.
The wheels and tyres, however, appear to be of the road-going variety and the wheel arches appear similar to the ‘regular’ Evoque.
A Range Rover ‘Grand Evoque’ has been rumoured for some time, believed to be a version of the current Evoque with a longer wheelbase but these patent images offer few clues in that regard.
A cabriolet version has also been rumoured, with a launch reportedly set to occur this year.
It is unclear what these drawings may represent in terms of a future Range Rover Evoque model from Land Rover, or if any finished product would be road-legal and offered for sale.
