Land Rover’s oddly compelling Range Rover Evoque Cabriolet concept will soon shed the ‘concept’, if these latest spy photos are anything to go by.
Revealed in 2011, the Evoque Cabrio has been rumoured to have a production future since it first appeared, with reports popping up just about every year.
This week however, TMR's spy photographers have caught a camouflaged Evoque cruising public roads with a fabric roof.
This suggests a topless Evoque is again back on the agenda, and we could see an official debut occur in the coming year.
As these photos reveal, we can likely expect the production Evoque Cabrio to retain much of the concept’s features, including a three-door body style and a folding fabric roof instead of metal.
With the Evoque heading into its fourth year on the market - and its seventh since first appearing as the LRX concept - we might also see the compact Range Rover given some styling and mechanical updates before the Cabrio appears.
