Today, the British carmaker has offered the first official look at the updated compact SUV, releasing a single shadowy shot of its new-look LED daytime lights.
Although only a minor glimpse of what we’ll see at next month’s Geneva Motor Show, this image reveals a new angular look to the Evoque’s LED lighting.
In its current form, launched in 2011, the Evoque’s daytime lights are made up of two circles that ‘disappear’ into the edges of the headlight housing.
The updated Evoque range is also expected to feature a new engine line-up when it appears next month - likely the same ‘Ingenium’ options that feature in the new Jaguar XE.
Exterior and interior styling and equipment updates can also be expected, and, if recent spy photos are anything to by, a new Cabriolet model is also on the way.
“Our challenge has been to enhance Evoque without diluting its iconic design," Land Rover design chief Gerry McGovern said.
"The design refreshments give it an even greater presence on the road yet retain the emotional appeal that has made it so popular with more than 400,000 consumers around the world."
Watch for the 2016MY Evoque to appear at the Geneva Motor Show early next month.
