RACQ Urges Caution For Private Sellers After Test-drive Thefts

A pair of performance car thefts in Queensland, perpetrated during test drives, has moved insurer RACQ to warn owners to be vigilant in selling their car.

In one case, the owner of a BMW 335i was left stranded when the would-be buyer tore away down the road after swapping seats.

Another saw an FPV F6 stolen from right outside the owner’s home at the end of a test drive.
