A new carmaker from Las Vegas has teased its first model ahead of an official unveiling next month.

The new outfit is called PSC Motors - and it’s going all out on the first model by building a supercar called the SP-200 SIN.

The SP-200 SIN’s power output, if you can believe it, is touted to be 1700 horsepower (1268kW).

So it’s safely in supercar territory there, but a predicted 0-100km/h time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed beyond 445km/h would surely bump it up to hypercar status.

While those may seem like improbable numbers, they're perhaps plausible when you consider the powerplant is no less than a 783kW 9.0 litre V8 matched with a single 485kW electric motor.
