Porsche Australia is aiming to double its sales between now and the end of the decade, and the company expects that its upcoming Macan SUV will be key to hitting that target.

Last year the German automaker sold 1374 cars locally, and local Porsche boss Michael Winkler says next year's arrival of the Macan will do much to lift annual sales beyond the 2500 barrier - and so will a comprehensive pricing adjustment for existing models.
