Porsche Announces Macan GTS, To Slot In Between Macan S and Turbo

Porsche has today unveiled its Macan GTS in the USA, to sit in the middle of the current Macan SUV range, between the Macan S and Macan Turbo. Based on the 3.0 litre twin turbo V6 of the Macan S, the GTS boasts hardware and tuning changes to bump power


Porsche has today unveiled its Macan GTS in the USA, to sit in the middle of the current Macan SUV range, between the Macan S and Macan Turbo.

Based on the 3.0 litre twin turbo V6 of the Macan S, the GTS boasts hardware and tuning changes to bump power to 265kW at 6000rpm, 15kW more than Macan S, while torque rises 40Nm, to 500Nm between 1650 and 4000rpm.

Power is delivered by the same all-wheel-drive setup as seen beneath the Macan Turbo, paired with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission.
