Peugeot Australia has repositioned its 4007 medium SUV, with a new driveaway price of $37,990 for the manual-equipped ST 2.2 HDi.
This is a reasonable slice off the top of the model's previous $38,896 drive-away price - a saving of $906 on the purchase.
Standard equipment for the entry-level ST includes on-demand 4WD, six airbags, rain-sensing wipers, ESP, parking sensors, climate control, cruise control and Bluetooth connectivity.
Moving up to the top-shelf auto-equipped SV 2.2 HDi seven-seat variant, standard features include leather upholstery, power-adjusted driver's seat, front seat heaters, xenon headlights and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The SV seven-seat variant is now offered for $47,814 drive-away - a similar saving for the premium model.
“The 4007 has now become one of the great bargains of the entire SUV market and is utterly unmatched among European marques," Peugeot Australia's Richard Grant said.
"We’re very excited about the potential of the model and we’re looking forward to welcoming many more owners to Peugeot’s ranks as a result.”
The 4007 is powered by a 115kW and 380Nm 2.2 litre HDi diesel engine, matched to either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed automatic transmission, along with a Mitsubishi-developed all-wheel-drive system.
