Peugeot has kicked off the teaser campaign for a new concept bound for this month's Paris Motor Show, dubbed Onyx.
Details are hazy, but reports out of Europe suggest the car will be driven by the familiar 1.6 litre turbocharged petrol engine, paired with an electric motor.
According to Autoblog Spain, the high-strung turbo engine will produce around 190kW, as it does in the Citroen DS4 Racing revealed earlier this year.
Matched with the electric motor, the Onyx will reportedly send a combined 300kW to the wheels - likely utilising an all-wheel-drive configuration.
The images and video pair released today reveal a wide and low-slung supercar look, with slender headlights and a Veyron-like rear spoiler that raises out of the body at high speeds.
Watch for more details on the Onyx to surface in the coming weeks.
