Australian Peugeot distributor Sime Darby has announced price cuts to the carmaker's SUV pair, offering drive-away deals on both.
Standard features with the 4007 SV include a leather-trimmed cabin with heated front seats and a powered driver's seat, along with xenon headlights. Peugeot Australia has also thrown 18-inch alloy wheels into the deal, previously a $1300 option.
Under the bonnet of the 4007 is a 115kW/380Nm 2.2 litre turbodiesel, mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission and Mitsubishi's all-wheel-drive system.
Standard features for the smaller 4008 include a standard rear camera, seven airbags, LED running lights, rear privacy glass, air conditioned glove box and voice-activated Bluetooth connectivity.
The 4008 Active is powered by a 110kW/197Nm 2.0 litre four cylinder engine, mated to a CVT automatic transmission and a front-wheel-drive layout.
The price cuts follow news last week of drive-away pricing for 2012-plated Citroen C4 Aircross models, built on the same platform as the 4008 and also distributed by Sime Darby.
