Opel Australia Announces National Dealer Network

GM's incoming German marque Opel has announced details of its national dealer network ahead of the brand's Australian launch in September.

Rather than tacking the brand onto existing showrooms, Australia's Opel dealer network will see 17 stand-alone retail franchises, many of them purpose-built, launched across the country.

According to Opel Australia boss Bill Mott, the stand-alone approach is a reflection of the product's strength.

“We are extremely proud of our Opel dealer network. Our partners include some of the nation’s most successful and well-regarded dealers,” Mr Mott said.

“Their significant investment in unique stand-alone Opel facilities is a testament to the potential they ascribe to the brand in Australia.”

The list of dealers, released this week, reveals that the German carmaker will be represented in every capital city.
