Nissan Australia has at last tacked the SSS badge to the rear of its Pulsar sedan, joining the ‘warm hatch’ that launched here in early 2013.
Originally due here in the second quarter of 2014, the warmed-up SSS sedan joins a now more affordable SSS hatch and a revised Pulsar range.
Buyers looking to step into a manual-equipped SSS from $25,990 for the hatch - down from $29,690 - and $26,990 for the sedan. Opting for an auto will see those prices creep up to $28,490 and $29,290 respectively.
Both are powered by the same turbocharged 140kW/240Nm 1.6 litre four-cylinder engine that already drives the hatch model.
Like the hatch before it, the sedan wears unique SSS styling elements and 17-inch alloy wheels. Rear parking sensors are also standard on both models.
The 2015 range also sees the SSS replace the Ti as the sedan range’s flagship model, bringing it in-line with the hatch range.
