Nissan Patrol V8 Gets More Gear, Lower Pricing For 2015

Nissan has rationalised its Patrol V8 lineup, removing the previous entry-level ST-L model and dramatically cutting the cost of entry for the remaining Ti and Ti-L grades.

The price cuts have been so dramatic that the Patrol Ti, previously the mid-grade model in the range, now retails for $69,990. Not only is that $23,400 less than before, it's $12,700 cheaper than the now-discontinued Patrol ST-L.

It's also much more competitively priced against the Toyota Landcruiser LC200 V8 petrol, which starts at $80,990 in base GXL guise. The Landcruiser diesel is a lot closer to the Patrol at $73,990, if not quite as well-specced.
