Nissan’s Lannia sedan has been unveiled in production-ready form at the Shanghai Auto Show, designed to fill a niche in the brand's Chinese line-up.
The Lannia was previewed as a concept last year, and many styling similarities can be seen in the Friend-Me concept; unveiled at the Shanghai show in 2013.
Nissan says its new model is aimed at trendsetting young Chinese owners in their 20s and 30s, in a car designed to combine the best of the hatch and sedan as a “sedan theory-breaker”.
The Lannia is a joint effort by Nissan’s China-based design team and the Nissan Global Design Centre, which captures Nissan’s latest design language.
