As Nissan prepares to run out stocks of its Qashqai small SUV ahead of an updated model later this year, the Japanese automaker has introduced a special edition model, and driveaway deals to sharpen the Qashqai’s value.
The Qashqai N-Sport special edition treatment is based on the entry-level Qashqai ST but adds extra styling touches including exterior 'ice chrome' highlights on the front lip finisher, door sill strips, front and rear styling plates and a set of 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels in place of the standard 17-inch alloys.
Power comes from the same 2.0-litre petrol unit that produces 106kW and 200Nm and is mated to a CVT automatic transmission.
Nissan claims $1800 worth of added value for the N-Sport, and will offer driveaway pricing for a limited time. The N-Sport special edition is priced at $26,990 driveaway with Nissan also applying a $25,990 driveaway deal to the regular Qashqai ST automatic with both variants priced below their regular list price for the duration of the offer.
Driveaway pricing is available until end of August.
