Nissan Australia And Nissan Japan To Decide V8 Supercar Future Soon

A decision is due shortly on whether Nissan will continue in V8 Supercar racing beyond this year - but that decision is unrelated to today’s announcement regarding the termination of Pulsar hatchback, Micra and Y61 Patrol models.

According to Nissan Australia chief Richard Emery, the company can afford to continue its motorsport program and discussions with Japan are focusing on its relevance in the company’s global racing plans.
