Nissan's new Nismo-enhanced GT-R flagship will be the world's quickest production car, if new reports out of the UK are to be believed. 

It's already up there, of course: with a claimed 2.7 second 0-60mph (96km/h) time, 'Godzilla' rubs shoulders with the equally quick 911 Turbo S, the 2.4-second Veyron 16.4 Super Sport and the 2.3-second Ariel Atom V8, among others. 

But according to Britain's Auto Express, the upcoming GT-R Nismo will thrash them all with a face-peeling run to 60mph in just two seconds.

Yes, two seconds, 2.0 seconds.
