New TwinPower Turbo Engines For All New MINI Hatch

The trend to downsized engines has found its way to MINI. The all-new next-gen MINI will be available with a three-cylinder variant among the model line-up.

The three-cylinder is one of two new 'TwinPower' engines to be nestled under the bonnets of the new MINI: a 1.5 litre three-cylinder and 2.0 litre four, both with twin-scroll turbo petrol power.

An all-new MINI Cooper Hatch will be the first model to feature the new power-plants. It's expected to debut next month at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
