The hatch version of Toyota’s hot-selling Corolla will pick up a major styling update this year, revealed here in its global ‘Auris’ hatch and wagon form.
The refreshed hatch will go on sale in Australia later this year, the company has confirmed. The current model debuted here in late 2012.
Shown online ahead of its Geneva Motor Show appearance next month, the 2015/16 Corolla has been given a dramatic front-end makeover.
The familiar ‘V’ shape remains, but Toyota has given the Corolla hatch reshaped headlights, a new wing-like grille design, and a new front bumper.
For now, Toyota has offered only this front-end view, but we will likely also see styling tweaks to the rear when it surfaces next month.
Full technical details will also be revealed at the show, although Toyota Australia has confirmed that buyers can expect the same 103kW 1.8 litre engine, but with improved fuel efficiency figures.
Watch for more on the refreshed Corolla to surface in the days ahead.
