New Subaru WRX STI Confirmed For Detroit Auto Show Debut

Subaru has confirmed that its new WRX STI hero sedan will debut in Detroit next week, less than two months on from the unveiling of its WRX sibling.

For now, that's precisely all that Subaru has confirmed, although reports in recent weeks suggest that we can expect a 2.5 litre turbo engine to again provide motivation.

Outputs and other details for the STI, however, are still yet to surface. In its current form, the STI offers 221kW and 407Nm of torque.
