Full local specifications for the new Navara are still to be confirmed, but last year’s unveiling and drive event detailed a Euro 5-compliant 140kW/450Nm 2.3 litre twin-turbo diesel engine. A 120kW/403Nm tune is also available for 4x2 models.
Depending on the model grade, there’s also a choice of six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmissions.
The dual-cab models driven in Thailand also boasted leather trim, power-adjusted seats, electric sunroof, reversing camera, satellite navigation, automatic headlights and wipers, and more.
