New Managing Director Appointed at Infiniti Australia

Infiniti Australia has announced that current managing director Jean-Philippe Roux has taken a new position in Europe, handing the corner office to Chang-Hwan Lee who previously headed up the Infiniti brand in Korea.

Roux took the local posting in November 2014 and has overseen the introduction of new models including the Q30, QX30 and Q60 ranges during his time in Australia. Mr Roux will now take charge of Russian-market products for Nissan Europe, a move that will see him return to his native France.

His successor, CH Lee, comes to Australia from Korea where he has held roles in marketing, aftersales, and public relations with Infiniti during the brand’s growth-phase in that market.

The change at Infiniti also comes at the same time as its parent company, Nissan, announces that its Australian general manager of corporate communications, Peter Fadeyev, has been appointed as general manager of product communications for the Asia and Oceania region.

Nissan Australia’s sales and marketing general manager, Craig Clarke, is also moving to the role of senior vice president of sales for Nissan Asia and Oceania. Successor to both positions are yet to be announced.
