New Kia Sorento: 5-Star ANCAP Crash Safety Score Announced

Kia Australia may have to wait until later this year for its unexpectedly penalised Carnival to be ready for a 5-Star safety rating, but today it can celebrate a win with the new Sorento SUV.

Due to hit the local market this week, the all-new 2016 Sorento will come with top safety marks, thanks to new Euro NCAP crash test results analysed and approved by the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP).

Achieving a near perfect 15.62 out of a possible 16 in the Frontal Offset test and maximum points in the Side Impact and Pole Impact tests, the Sorento has been awarded a 5-Star rating.
