The Korean-market version of Kia’s all-new Optima has been revealed today, courtesy of some eagled-eyed fans on the brand’s home turf.
Known in Korea as the K5, the Optima shown here wears a front bumper design that is more in-line with the teasers released last week, differing from the official photo released only hours ago.
It remains to be seen which version of the new Optima will come to Australia, although the brand has a history of offering unique styling to the US market.
We may also discover in the coming week that all markets will get the version shown here, with yesterday’s chrome-heavy red Optima representing the flagship Turbo model.
These photos also offer a first clear look at the new Optima’s profile and rear-end, again confirming that Kia has chosen to develop the already sporting lines that made the current Optima a fan-favourite in the looks department.
The new Optima will make its official debut at next week’s New York Auto Show. Stay tuned to TMR for all the details, and catch our extensive earlier coverage below.
