Jaguar’s new F-Type will make its second Australian appearance at the National Jaguar Rally in Wollongong over the Easter long-weekend.

The 44th annual Jag rally display day will be held at Flagstaff Hill, North Wollongong on Saturday 30 March, with around 75 years of history and 200 cars on display.

The event will see the F-Type flanked by its spiritual predecessors – the C-, D-, and E-Types - marking the first time all four have appeared together in Australia.

Set to launch in August, the F-Type will feature three engine variants, with two supercharged V6s and a supercharged V8, all mated to an eight-speed auto, swoopy aluminium body and rear-wheel-drive.

Other hot cats on display will include a ground-up restoration of a 1939 SS Drop Head Coupe, along with a 1940 2.5 Litre SS Saloon, a rare 1974 V12 E-Type Roadster, and the first XK150 to circumnavigate Australia

If you’re in New South Wales over Easter, it’ll be worth a look - but with this number of convertibles on show, you'd best pray there’s no rain.
