New Camaro Teased In Detroit As Australian Launch Potential Builds

A quick on-screen flash of coming new models, displayed during GM’s Detroit Auto Show presentation, may have revealed a first look at the new Camaro.

Tucked into a shadowy group shot that also appeared to feature the next Cruze, Malibu and Spark is an unmistakeable classic coupe design that could only be Chevrolet’s big muscle car.

This shot, snapped at the Detroit show by enthusiast site CamaroNews, reveals that, as expected, the new coupe will deliver an evolutionary design, building on the look of the current model.

It appears we can likely also expect a more organic shape in the new Camaro, with this teaser hinting at a more curvaceous shape through the profile and across the bonnet.

The familiar sharp face will live on, however, dominated by a letterbox grille opening and an even pointier nose.
