BMW has confirmed that its big new 7 Series will be unveiled next week, announcing the news in a short video clip this morning.
There will be few surprises when the all-new limo debuts on June 10, however, with earlier previews and a set of spy photos already revealing much of the new 7’s secrets.
Sneaky shots snapped last month offered an early look at BMW’s new flagship in detail, delivering a clear view of the new 7 Series from every angle.
Likewise, BMW itself has handed down a number of details, including information on its autonomous driving functions and a lightweight construction that will see the new model shed around 130kg.
The carmaker’s new-generation engines will also be on board, with launch models expected to wear the 740i, 740d and 750i badges.
Reports suggest we could also see the M7 badge join the range at last, entering as a rival to the Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG.

Speaking with TMR today, BMW Australia’s Lenore Fletcher said that well-heeled locals can expect the new 7 Series to touch down in the fourth quarter of 2015.
