Morgan 3-Wheeler EV Coming To Australia In 2017

Morgan’s latest model is currently on show at the Geneva Motor Show, and the carmaker’s Australian distributor has confirmed it’s heading our way.

Called the EV3 - or the ‘3-Wheeler EV’ - the new model takes the existing 3-Wheeler and swaps the air-cooled twin-cylinder petrol engine for an all-electric powerplant.

Enthusuasts, and there are many, will be relieved to hear that the 3-Wheeler’s early 20th century-inspired shape remains, but Morgan has made more than a few styling changes to separate the EV from the regular model.

The front end barely resembles the 3-Wheeler, given the lack of a petrol powerplant with its chrome gills sitting proud of the engine.
