Prices are up but fuel consumption is down in the updated Toyota HiAce range.
The 3.0-litre turbo-diesel scores improved fuel consumption by as much as 4.6 per-cent (Long Wheelbase and Super-Long Wheelbase vans with the five-speed manual transmission on the urban cycle) thanks to a recalibration to meet Euro 5 emissions standards.
There’s also a diesel particulate filter with manual and automatic regeneration.
Two new Toyota HiAce commuter buses have been added to the range and there is now a no cost option for 12 seats instead of 14 – the 12 seater legal for drivers with a car-only licence.
And, responding to customer feedback, Toyota HiAce Long Wheelbase van (diesel only) offers a choice of standard steel panel or a window on the left-side (pictured below).
