A survey of members with Queensland insurer RACQ has found that the urge to give our cars a name is as prevalent as ever.
RACQ spokesperson Lauren Ritchie said that more than half of younger drivers name their cars, with female motorists the most likely to indulge.
The ten most common nicknames also revealed that the name of the brand or the model is a strong influence for many.
