The updated Outlander is likely to take its styling inspiration - if not every individual detail - from the ‘Concept-S’ shown in September last year.
That concept was of course based on the current Outlander, swapping the SUV’s front and rear styling for a sharp new chrome-heavy design.
Mitsubishi’s earlier GC and XR concepts provided a first look at this new design direction, and we can likely expect the refreshed Outlander’s styling to make its way across all of Mitsubishi’s next-generation models.
News of an updated Outlander look comes around three years after the current model’s global debut, which followed the unveiling of the earlier PX-MiEV concepts in 2009 and 2011 - which, in its way, makes the current Outlander’s look more than five years old.
