Mitsubishi has rolled out a new trim and paint pack for its Mirage light car, with another wild colour and a handful of light exterior styling touches.

Dubbed 'Pop Green Plus Pack', the new trim is based on the Mirage LS model and limited to 400 units across Australia.

Apart from the metallic green paint, the Plus Pack adds a lip-and-skirts kit, along with chrome highlights to the foglight frames and a chrome tailgate protector.

The Mirage Pop Green Plus Pack is otherwise identical in spec to its LS donor. The manual model is priced at $16,990 drive-away and the CVT auto at $17,990 drive-away.

Features already standard with the LS include USB/aux/Bluetooth connectivity (including audio streaming), steering-mounted controls, dusk-sensing headlamps, rain-sensing wipers and keyless ‘one-touch’ start, climate-control air-conditioning and four-speaker audio.

The LS also features a roof spoiler, door sash blackout and 15-inch alloy wheels.

Standard safety features include six SRS airbags - driver and front passenger, side and curtain. ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution is also standard as is active stability control.

For child-seat installation there are three tether anchors as well as two Iso-Fix rear-seat child-restraints.

Power in all Mirage models is provided by a 1.2 litre petrol engine producing 57kW and 100Nm of torque, and depending on specification, fuel consumption figures range from 4.6 to 4.9 l/100km.
