Mitsubishi Australia Shaves Pajero Pricing For 2013

Mitsubishi has revised its Pajero 4WD lineup and pricing for 2013, with improved value across all models.

Gone is the previous entry GL model, with a rejigged GLX model now forming the Pajero starting point.

Pricing for the now five-seat GLX 147kW/441Nm diesel drops to $50,990 with a five-speed manual transmission, and $53,990 for the five-speed automatic version.

Both GLX versions are $5000 cheaper than before, but $400 more than the previous GL model. This $400 is offset by the GLX’s climate control, bluetooth connectivity, leather steering wheel, and electric mirrors.

On the outside, the GLX betters the previous GL with standard 17-inch alloys, front skid plate, rear fog lights, roof rails, wheelarch flares, and spare wheel cover. 

A new GLX-R model is now the cheapest seven-seat model, matching the GLX’s previous pricing of $55,990 in manual, and $58,990 in automatic.

Aside from the extra two pews, the GLX-R gains rear cabin air-conditioning, reversing camera, front fog lights, rear spoiler and side steps.

The VRX model is now available in manual guise for $60,990, whilst the automatic version drops $6900 to $63,990.

VRX models now come equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, reversing camera and sensors, headlamp washers, auto headlamps and wipers, partial leather trim with front seat heaters, puddle lamps and side mirror-mounted indicators.
