Mitsubishi has just announced that a rear view camera is now available for all models of its Triton ute range.

Although still not standard equipment, buyers who option a tray for their cab chassis Triton from the Mitsubishi Genuine Accessories line will now receive a safety-enhancing rear view camera as part of the tray kit.

“By offering a genuine rear view camera solution, we are able to offer Triton customers safety technology, without breaking their budget,” Mr Principe said.

“The Triton cab chassis continues to be a popular choice in the market, and we are committed to offering important safety technology like this to all of our customers.”

Mitsubishi offers all ute-body extra cab and twin cab Tritons with a reversing camera standard, but the change in genuine tray kit specifications marks the first time a camera has been included, rather than being offered as a stand-alone accessory.

Mitsubishi’s genuine tray range is priced from $1191 to $1750 depending on specification. Pricing excludes fitting charges, which your dealer can advise on.
