2014 MINI Cooper Reveals Its Driver Assist Systems

MINI's new Cooper hatch will launch with an advanced assistance system that will include a head-up display, parking assist, and collision warning with auto-braking. 

Much of this information will appear in the head-up display, projecting warnings and data onto a special clear folding panel atop the dash - rather than directly onto the windscreen, as many current systems do. 

The display will offer information on current speed and the posted limit, along with navigation instructions, audio track names and radio stations, and a number of key alerts.
