MINI’s unique Coupe, Roadster and Paceman models may be resigned to just one page in the company’s history book, according to reports out of Europe.

Speaking at the Geneva Motor Show, MINI product boss Oliver Friedmann discussed the brand’s goals and priorities - and noted that the future of some models remains undecided.

According to industry paper Automotive News, Friedmann described the Cooper hatch and Countryman models as “strong pillars” of the company’s range, with the new Clubman concept likely to join them.

"Our first priority is to roll out a portfolio that has strong pillars and to be absolutely clear what each stands for,” Friedmann said, adding that the new Clubman would be “a separate strong pillar”.
