Mercedes Viano Vision Pearl Headed To Frankfurt

The all-new B- and A-Class small cars are likely to steal the show on the Mercedes stand at September's Frankfurt Motor Show, but the big Viano people-mover won't be left behind.

Described as a "yacht on wheels," the Viano Vision Pearl is a design study inspired by the luxurious yachts littering the world's most exotic harbours.

On the outside, the Viano Vision Pearl gets Mercedes' new "Magno Pearl Grey" satin paint option, along with a sportier front bumper and large 19-inch alloy wheels - the same design shown on leaked A-Class images earlier this year.

Inside is where the bulk of the tweaks are found, with leather trim and and aluminium and wood highlights on every surface, along with an 18-speaker 1320 watt Bang & Olufsen audio system.

There's seating for six passengers and even a W-LAN wireless internet connection for gaming and, if it can't be escaped, a spot of work.

“We have created a vehicle which combines generous spaciousness with an impressive design. Anybody who attaches importance to stress-free and at the same time stylish travel will find that the Viano Vision Pearl is the ideal companion," Mercedes-Benz Vans boss Volker Mornhinweg said.

"The interior design and technical features make the Viano Vision Pearl the S-Class among vans.”
