Mercedes-Benz has added a pair of new Special Edition variants to its Australian E-Class range.
The company says the new specials, based on the petrol and diesel E 250 sedan twins, add $5100 in additional value to the customer.
Features with the Special Edition E 250 petrol and E 250 CDI diesel include heated front seats, wood and leather steering trim, a panoramic sliding roof and 19-inch AMG sports wheels.
There’s also a 360 degree camera, Harman kardon surround sound audio, DAB+ digital radio and illuminated front door sills.
As with the regular E 250 models, the new specials are powered by turbocharged four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.
The E 250 petrol offers 155kW and 350Nm, with fuel consumption listed at 6.4 l/100km.
The diesel-powered E 250 CDI offers 150kW and a healthy 500Nm, with fuel use again listed at 4.9 l/100km.
The E-Class is Australia's best selling large premium car, with 791 year-to-date sales (June end. July figures still to come).
