Mercedes-Benz SL Facelift Coming To LA Auto Show

Mercedes-Benz has let slip a revealing preview of its upcoming 2016 SL Roadster facelift, ahead of the car's full unveilling at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week.

Thanks to some extensive rhinoplasty the updated SL range will feature a front-end design that borrows heavily from Benz's performance flagship, the Mercedes-AMG GT, with bold, rounded headlamp clusters, a be-winged three-pointed star and prominent vents.

The redesign also brings the SL's design into line with the rest of the Mercedes-Benz range, particularly the organic forms of the C-Class and S-Class.

Mercedes is staying mum about what other changes we can expect, but all should be revealed once press day begins in Los Angles on November 19, Australian time.
