Mercedes-Benz aims to take pole position when the motoring glitterati assemble in Pebble Beach, California next week for the annual Concours d’Elegance.
The German giant has released this teaser image of its star attraction, an as-yet unnamed new coupe wearing the Maybach badge, which we understand will appear next Thursday morning Australian time.
At more than six-metres in length, at least the crowds in Pebble Beach will have no trouble seeing the jaw-dropping new coupe.
Speculation has the all-new coupe powered by the 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine employed in the Mercedes-Maybach S600 sedan.
And we even hear a mid-size Maybach based on the all-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is also penciled-in for launch.
All of which might even drag the golfers from the adjacent Cypress Point Club (said to be the world’s most exclusive golf club) over to Pebble Beach a week from today.
