Mercedes-Benz has issues a recall for its C200 d produced between December 2014 and March 2016.
In the recall notice Mercedes-Benz describes the potential for a fuel leak risk owing to a high pressure fuel line that has not been manufactured to specification.
The fuel leak could lead to diesel leakage onto the road surface, increasing the accident risk to the vehicle as well as other road users.
The recalled vehicles are from Mercedes-Benz’ current ‘205’ generation vehicles fitted with the OM646 diesel engine, with this recall not related to previous C-Class diesel recalls for the previous generation model.
Mercedes-Benz will contact owners of affected vehicles by mail, anyone wishing to know more can contact their local dealer.
