Mercedes-Benz Expanding C-Class Range, Adding Four-Door Coupe: Report

Mercedes-Benz is reportedly looking to expand its mid-sized C-Class range, by adding a new variant to the growing ‘four-door coupe’ market.

Speaking with Auto Express, Benz’ research and development boss Thomas Weber reportedly said that the expanded C-Class range will go beyond the upcoming convertible and coupe models.

"We will continue with variants that you know, plus some more expansion," Mr Weber said.

"With four plants producing C-Class we have a clear message that we will grow. It is now possible to be much faster and with less money for new models."
