Mercedes-Benz Contracts Valmet To Build GLC SUV

Strong demand for Mercedes-Benz’ newest SUV has seen it outgrow capacity at its production facility in Bremen, Germany, with Benz turning to contract builder, Valmet to fill the gaps.

From its facility in Uusikaupunki, Finland, Valmet will add GLC production to a schedule that already includes the A-class small hatch.

As the GLC begins rolling out across right-hand-drive markets around the world, including Australia, the added production capacity provided by Valmet will help meet the demand for MB’s popular new SUV
