2013 Mercedes CLS 63 AMG S: Australian Price And Features

The order books for Merc's powered-up CLS 63 AMG S are now open in Australia, with the new Shooting Brake model also joining the local range. 

For 2013, the CLS 63 AMG S follows in the footsteps of the E 63 S, adding a major power boost to the hero AMG model.

Like the E 63 AMG S, the new S model ties in the existing AMG Power Package to replace the 'regular' CLS 63 AMG offering, launched here in 2011. 

That means the 5.5 litre V8 in the Australian CLS 63 AMG S is up from 386kW/700Nm to 430kW/800Nm, skipping the 410kW/720Nm update that hit the CLS 63 AMG in international markets earlier this year.
