Mercedes AMG GT Teased Ahead Of September Debut: Video

Mercedes-Benz tuning haus AMG has handed down a pair of new video teasers this week for its coming GT coupe, set to debut in September as a successor to the already iconic SLS AMG.

As the latest in a series of teaser videos, these clips see AMG executives and engineers outline the new coupe's highlights and the development journey up to now. 

"This is what you get when a company unleashes its creative and engineering forces to combine the absolute best of all it has done into a single, monumental, unwavering engineering achievement," AMG says.

It is clear from these clips and our earlier photos that the new AMG GT will adopt a more traditional coupe profile, with a long bonnet and a sweeping roofline.

Long high-set tail-lights can be seen at the rear, flanked by dual exhaust tips and a short lip spoiler on the boot lid.
